Best golf courses in Marbella

Marbella has the most exclusive golf courses in Spain and Europe, with a total of 21 golf courses.

According to the Global Golf Sports study, Marbella is the leading municipality in terms of golf courses, with 243 holes, which represents more than 20% of the total offer of the Costa del Golf. 7 out of 10 golf tourists say that one of the main motivations for their trip was to enjoy the sun and the beach.

It is also important to highlight that golf tourism on the Costa del Sol is led by the United Kingdom, followed by Scandinavia, Norway, France and Germany.

Marbella has a wide seafront promenade

Marbella’s Paseo Marítimo is 6 kilometres long and with a wide enough for a relaxing walk or outdoor sports, such as jogging or cycling.

It takes about an hour on foot, taking in luxury villas surrounded by greenery, the most iconic hotels and exclusive urbanisations, luxury shopping centres and beach bars and restaurants. The walk can be followed for a further 13 kilometres to reach the famous Cabopino beach and the Artola dunes, with spectacular scenery.

In addition, new pedestrian areas have been created, providing more space for walking, exercising or simply enjoying the panoramic views of the coastline. The extension of Marbella’s Paseo Marítimo has been a great improvement for the town, as it not only increases its tourist offer, but also contributes to the wellbeing of its inhabitants.

Puerto Banus, an emblem of Marbella’s economy

Puerto Banús is one of the most exclusive ports in Europe with a wide range of leisure activities. This port is home to the world’s best-known luxury brands: Dior, Saint Laurent, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo… Being one of the most exclusive enclaves to buy their articles with personalised service.

Puerto Banus is a major tourist attraction as it is home to some 900 boats, including a number of super luxury yachts belonging to the world’s richest people. You can also hire yachts or sailboats for sailing and even test drive luxury cars.

You will also find many exclusive venues where you can enjoy concerts and live shows and you are sure to see more than one celebrity frequenting them. Be aware that the cost to enter and enjoy these venues will be somewhat higher than elsewhere.
